Winter Ambush at CrossFit Fontana

We had such a good time at the Randy Simmons Challenge that we’re looking to put together another team or two for the Winter Ambush at CrossFit Fontana on December 8th. Check out the details below and let me know if you’re interested.

Four person team competition at CrossFit Fontana. Consisting of three CrossFit and Circuit workouts designed to test your limits! These workouts are designed for anyone, not strictly CrossFitters.
Where: CrossFit Fontana, 7898 Cherry Ave, Fontana, CA
When: Saturday, December 8th, 2012 at 8:00am
Cost: $225/team early bird; $250/team late sign-up
Cash prizes and battle bags for the top three team:
-1st place $1000
-2nd place $500
-3rd place $250

Randy Simmons CrossFit Challenge

The WODs have been announced!

1. Max reps and calories in 7 minutes of:
-Row, 3 minutes
-Box Jumps, 2 minutes
-Shoulder to Overhead, 2 minutes, 45 dumbbells/25 dumbbells

2. As Many Roundss As Possible in 7 minutes of:
-50 Burpees
-20 Overhead Walking Lunges, 45/25 pound plate
-20 Jumping Squats

Randy Simmons CrossFit Challenge

The 5th Annual Randy Simmons CrossFit Challenge is on Saturday, October 20, 2012. You can compete as an individual or as part of a 4 person team. Represent CrossFit Six and register at


Complete 30, 25, 20, 15, and 10 reps of the following for time:

Medicine Ball Cleans, 20/16
Pull-ups (Bent-Over Dumbbell Rows)

CrossFit Endurance
Scale as necessary.

CrossFit Powerlifting Certification

This weekend I earned my CrossFit Powerlifting Trainer Certification. The course was taught by Jesse Burdick and Mark Bell, both Elite Powerlifters. Burdick has a 909 squat, 601 bench, and 804 deadlift. Bell has a 1,025 squat, 854 bench, and a 755 deadlift. It was a great course and I highly recommend that you attend a CrossFit Specialty Course or any seminar in which you’re interested. Discounts are available for police, fire, and military.
